Mr. Kevin Saunders, aka Erup, was born in the volatile East Kingston community of Rockfort, Jamaica on December 28, 1979. He attended Norman Gardens All Age School and concluded his secondary education at Donald Quarrie High School. Early in life, he grasped the fundamental lessons of self-discipline, dedication and determination. It was these same lessons that he applies to his everyday life. Erup was destined to be an accomplished artist, whom excels in all arenas of the arts.
Inspired by the great all-time icons of Reggae and Dancehall music, such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, and Shabba Ranks to name a few, Erup found his calling and began to embark on a career in music as early as 1993. It was his smooth lyrical delivery reinforced with his ability to achieve against all odds, which made him stand out from the rest. On his way to a successful career, Erup worked with 357, Mario C and a plethora of renowned producers, to include Bravo & Perry and Andy Livingston who released Erup‟s first LP entitled Caan Trick Mi Up. His thirst for music intensified and he perfected his skills, becoming a viable contender.
In 2005, Ricardo Bibi Gardener and a body of companions, including Erup, came together and created the label Heart of Love Promotions. Bibi saw the potential in this budding artist, and Erup soon became the prodigy of this entertainment syndicate. Proving his worth Erup produced and released a single called Mama Great in the Fall of 2006. Shortly after he released the instant hit song Gal Run Dem Head, making himself and Heart of Love Promotions a global household name.
The newest creation by Erup, along with other companions, is a recording company entitled FULLY GOVERN. Erup‟s album The Classic is scheduled to be released soon with collaborations of some of Reggae and Dancehall music‟s predominant artists and producers. His time is much spent in the studio recording. Spreading his love and inspiration, Erup is currently performing both in Jamaica and Internationally. Erup has, like so many before him, encountered extreme hardship and tremendous struggle throughout his musical journey, however, he keeps a positive outlook on his bright future.

Distinction. Honor. Respect. – the sheer mention of the word evokes the notion of someone that stands way above and beyond the average. Born August 22 in Clarkstown, Trelawny, Lauriston Bruce aka Prestige is a Lion who was born to roar!!! From the tender age of 8 he began performing at community events where he oftentimes competed in DJ contests with contenders much older than him. Like most black folks, the church was also a place for Prestige to use his voice, even for a short while, and it also helped to hone his vocals.1994 was a very significant year for Prestige because it was in this year while DJing under the name of Presley (think Elvis Presley), that he recorded his first tune called “Big Time Murderer” with Black Scorpio in Jamaica. It was also the year in which he gave up meat and became a vegetarian focusing on healthier living and a lifestyle of living more harmoniously with people. One might wonder if this man makes strict life changes within 10 year spans, because in 2004 Prestige started locking his hair and decided to cut fish out of his diet and become straight vegan. While Prestige is not a PETA advocate, he refuses to “kill to eat” and lists Mother Earth and Livity – popular vegan spots, as favorite places to eat when in Jamaica. This versatile, engaging, and charming man hails from Portmore, St. Catherine in Jamaica and likes to spend time with his two teenage daughters, Ariana and Kay. Like most Jamaican men, playing FOOTBALL aka soccer, is a favorite past-time. Writing tunes, recording in the studio, and meditating are also high on Prestige’s list of daily to-dos. Prestige does not compare himself with other performers and says “Everyone has a voice and they use it the way they can. I respect every artist, but in the end it is up to the people to decide which artist works for THEM.” One thing you will never hear from Prestige is any songs glorifying violence or advocating to “brandish guns” and Prestige has some very strong things to say about the so-called “spiritual and clean” performers who make it a point of duty to lace their songs with phrases about “under women dis” and “big gun dat”…Not calling any names!!! –
Prestige has flattened thousands at some of Jamaica’s biggest Reggae events including Magnum GT Taylor’s Christmas Extravaganza, Portmore Fest, and the notoriously critical crowd at the annual Sting stage show with stage performances as compelling and uplifting as the morally poignant lyrics behind his music.
With his eye toward the vast foreign Reggae market, his overseas performances have had the same impact on audiences in throughout the Caribbean Region, in addition to the United States, and Europe.
